American actor and singer Tracy Darrell Adkins specializes in country music. He made his breakthrough in 1996 with the Capitol Records Nashville CD Dreamin’ Out Loud.
The singer has since put out two Greatest Hits collections and eleven additional studio albums. More than 20 of his recordings have reached the Billboard country music charts, including the Number One hits “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “You’re Gonna Miss This,” which reached their peaks in 1997, 2007, and 2008, respectively.

Trace Adkins Illness: Does He Have Cancer?
Although Trace does not have cancer, he has previously been admitted to a rehab facility due to his alcohol addiction. Other than that, Trace doesn’t appear to be ill.
However, on social media, he had been posting updates regarding his pal Toby Keith’s stomach cancer. However, he had open heart surgery after being shot by his ex-wife.
The singer moved to Nashville in 1992 to give music another go, but controversy followed him there. Two years after moving, Adkins, who had divorced Lewis in 1990, was shot while attempting to subdue Julie Curtis, his second wife, after a heated argument over his drinking turned physical. He required immediate open-heart surgery since the bullet had passed through both his lungs and his heart.

After getting into a brawl on a cruise ship in 2014, Adkins went into rehab again, but he says he has overcome his drive to drink. He attributes his physical and mental well-being to his daughters and grandchildren, as well as his fourth wife Victoria Pratt, 51, whom he views as an “angel,” and his daughters.
“Victoria makes me drink kale smoothies, and she cooks really healthy stuff,” he says. “Plus, I do a lot of physical work at home. I feel great.”
After all, he’s weathered, the vocalist is thankful to still be standing. “It’s been a wild ride,” he says, “and I’m fortunate to still be here.”
